Taghyeer Movement organised a Summer Camp in the village of women-led Jub Al Deib. 70 kids from different communities participated in the 3-day-camp where the children learned and practiced nonviolence through entertaining games and activities.
The outcome of this camp was to introduce other communities to the village and engage its residents in mutual activities. We provided the kids with nonviolence skills such as nonviolent dialogue and communication skills and practicing steadfastness by education about organic agriculture and food production using worms and composting.
On the symbolic level, a big event in Jub Al Deib village provides support for a community under the threat of occupation, and strenghtens the bonds between the people.
